Playtest Details
Selected participants, here’s what you can expect:
Duration: October 23rd at 9PM ET to November 5th at 7:59PM ET
Requirements: To participate, selected participants will need to download special software.
Instead of taking applications first-come, first-served, the Japanese company can do a raffle for participants if the applicants are too many.
What Is It All About?
The playtest has been really secret on the part of Nintendo. Test participants in this program will most probably be among the very first ones to get experience with new features, games, or services related to Nintendo Switch Online.
Not everyone is that lucky, though, in that while many avid Nintendo fans want to join in on the fun, unfortunately, any person that does not have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership by the cutoff date is not eligible to participate.
This will be a great opportunity for the selected persons who would have qualified to shape the future of Nintendo’s online services. Any rumors or hints coming out of this ambiguous program will go under the hawk’s eye by the gaming community large and clear.
One thing is certain: there’s much to learn in the days ahead, and Nintendo simply can’t resist attempting to discover innovative ways of keeping its player base and gradually improving the service.
